SIMULATED

See it running in the cloud

A live status page from the running gateway: the simulated pump, and every HL7 message it sends to the stand-in EHR. On a free server, so the first visit can take a minute while it wakes.

How AI MedAgent uses it

The cloud gateway feeding pump state beside an Oracle Health chart, and the reasoning over both.

Why I gave it away

Every infusion pump that reports to an EHR does it through its manufacturer's own gateway: years of work, sold with the pump, closed, and each one different. The EHR half of the problem has a standard door now. The device half has none.

My reason is a selfish one. A reasoning engine is only as good as what it can see, and IV infusions are where the drug actually enters the patient. So I am opening the device half for everyone, me included. OpenBedside contains no AI MedAgent code and no clinical reasoning. It is plumbing, and AI MedAgent is one possible consumer of it, not a required one.
