A threshold alarm fires on a value that has already been crossed. AI MedAgent reads the trajectory between the moments a human is scheduled to look, using a large language model and public federal drug data that any hospital can already reach for nothing. That method is the patent. Everything on this site exists to show it survives contact with a real electronic health record.
It reads a patient chart out of an electronic health record and reasons over it: what the data supports, what it does not, and where the evidence runs out. It runs against the Oracle Health, Epic and MEDITECH sandboxes today, and the comparison of what each one actually returned is published rather than described.
It runs as a CDS Hooks service, which matters more than it sounds. The EHR is the client and calls out to the reasoning service at the moment of the decision, then renders what comes back. Epic, Oracle and MEDITECH all support it in production. No replacement of anything is required, and the answer lands where the decision is being made.
Every output states what it could not assess and why. That is not modesty, it is the design. A reader who cannot tell "normal" from "not measured" will average the two, and averaging those two is how a chart tells a confident lie.
The chart says what was ordered. It cannot say what the device did. A rate that dropped, a channel that went to keep-vein-open, a secondary that paused a primary, a bag that ran dry at three in the morning: none of that reaches the record the engine can read, and no amount of better reasoning fixes a missing input.
So rather than wait for a manufacturer to build an endpoint, the receiver was built instead: a public sandbox that accepts device data, computes an interval summary and reasons over it. It costs about five dollars a month to run, which is less than two minutes of an IHE Connectathon. The sandbox is here.
Corrections to this work are published rather than quietly fixed. Several claims here did not survive checking and were changed. Nobody works at the front of a field without this happening, and a field where it never happens to anybody is a field where nothing is being attempted.
